Bindoola Falls is closed to the public for camping and to visit, the only way to visit it is via Home Valley Station.
This option is only available to people who stay at Home Valley.
Travelling approximately 20mins or 15.5kms from the Home Valley Homestead, Bindoola Falls is at a private location just off the Gibb River Road heading West from our driveway (turn right). Sandstone cliffs rise to 300ft providing refreshing waterfalls and safe swimming holes during the popular dry season. Guests to Home Valley Station can select from a guided tour, HV8 Station Tour, or simply explore as a self-guided tour. Picnic hampers can be arranged in advance from our Station Store. PLEASE HELP US PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT Don’t litter. Please take all your rubbish with you. This includes cigarette butts, fruit peel and toilet paper. It is against the law to disturb or destroy the local flora and fauna. Never touch or tamper with Rock Art and/or Artifacts. Sunscreen pollutes our waters. Please minimise use before swimming. Wear protective clothing instead. Toilet facilities are not provided along this trail. TRAIL SIGNAGE & MARKERS The suggested route is marked to guide you safely to the attractions and back. Please follow the markers and keep to the route at all times. Moving off the route will damage this sensitive environment.
Bindoola Falls & Billabong Trail offers an easy to follow one way trail there and back - approx. 450m return from the car park. Sections of the trail are difficult and should only be attempted by physically fit and capable walkers. Extra care must be taken when entering the billabong as rocks can be slippery - no diving is permitted. Please let us know! As a safety precaution please tell reception when you are leaving and also when you return. Happy exploring, enjoy!
