Travel guide and general information for the Kimberley Region of WA,

Emma Gorge is another one of El Questro’s highlights. This stunning gorge is part of the Cockburn Ranges and is a scenic delight. The 1.6km walk (one way) begins relatively easily and about 1.3km takes you to the beautiful Turquoise Pool. Some steep climbing is involved for the last few hundred metres to reach Emma Gorge Pool which is absolutely gorgeous and a lovely place to relax and enjoy a swim under the falls. This gorge is located on the opposite side of the Gibb River Road to the station township (approx 27km away) but still on El Questro land. Emma Gorge Resort is situated here and provides tented-cabin style accommodation, restaurant, bar and swimming pool.
